Tahini Mocha Latte - Caffeine-Optional!

Are you looking for a delicious and comforting caffeine-free latte? This Tahini Caffeine-Free (if you want it to be) Mocha Latte is the perfect blend of rich flavors and creamy textures, making it an ideal drink to enjoy any time of the day. Packed with nutritious ingredients, this latte is sure to become your new favorite!
Serves 1-2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup hot Teeccino Maca Chocolate Tea (or your preferred caffeine-free tea or coffee alternative)
  • 2/3 cup nut milk (unsweetened vanilla almond milk works great, but any nut milk will do)
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips*
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup raw cashews
  • 1 tablespoon Soom Foods tahini
  • 2 Medjool dates
  • 1 teaspoon mushroom powder or blend

*Note: I love to use Hu Kithchen or Just Date brand Date-Sweetened Chocolate Chips! You can find these at Whole Foods. If they’re hard to find for you, Lily's Stevia-Sweetened Chocolate Chips are another great lower sugar option.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tea: Start by brewing 1 cup of hot Teeccino Maca Chocolate Tea, or your preferred caffeine-free tea, coffee, or coffee alternative.

  2. Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the hot tea with all of the other ingredients: 2/3 cup of nut milk, 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1/3 cup of raw cashews, 1 tablespoon of tahini, 1 teaspoon of mushroom blend, and 2 Medjool dates.

  3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. If you find the mixture too thick, you can add a little more hot tea or nut milk to reach your desired consistency. The more you blend, the frothier it will get

  4. Serve and Enjoy: Pour the creamy latte into two mugs and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Nut Milk Options: Feel free to experiment with different types of nut milk, such as cashew, oat, or soy milk, to find your favorite combination.
  • Sweetness Level: Adjust the sweetness to your liking by changing the quantity of dates or using sweetened nut milk.
  • Add-ins: Enhance the flavor profile by adding a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, or a splash of vanilla extract.
